This delightful cape cod is looking for larger bedrooms and more natural light. Without increasing the footprint of the house at all, dormers are a great way to maximize the unused space in the eaves of your roofline. Currently in the planning phases, I am so excited to totally transform this family's upstairs! While increasing the head height, we will also be renovating an oddly large bathroom into two bathrooms to better suit the needs of the family.
A laundry closet will move the machines from the basement up to an underutilized storage closet and the back bedroom with existing dormers will become a kid's room with charm galore.
For the primary bedroom we are looking to create a serene retreat where mom and dad can relax. Bright and airy, this peaceful design will focus on neutral tones that play up what will be abundant southern light.
